SarCheck (TM) is a performance analysis and tuning tool for Solaris SPARC, HP-UX, AIX, and Linux operating systems. SarCheck translates cryptic data into a Plain English report that makes recommendations and explains the reasons for those recommendations.

dmap lets you translate disk names between the c0t0d0 format and the sd322 format used by utilities like sar and iostat. Dmap is much faster than the available scripts that do the same thing and is a spinoff from our development of SarCheck for Solaris SPARC. We're providing dmap free as a way of thanking the Solaris community for the success of SarCheck.

freemem lets you see the values of some of the HP-UX kernel parameters, thresholds, and values that will give you a really good idea about how memory is being used by HP-UX. This utility is a spinoff from our development of SarCheck for HP-UX, and we're providing it free as a way of thanking the HP-UX community for the success of SarCheck.
